CCTV is a kind of electronic surveillance system to monitor the situation of a certain place by means of a closed-circuit camera. An operator must be available to receive, analyze and process any visual and audio data that are taken. Nowadays, proper surveillance is made of possible anytime and anywhere with the use of advanced technologies through connection of computer with the Internet. CCTV is a passive device that can be only monitor the place being protected and achieve a deterrent effect. However, it cannot prevent somebody from entering the place being protected.
