Intruder or burglar alarms detect the entry or attempted entry of intruders into a protected premises (e.g. residential or commercial) and when triggered they initiate certain procedures intended to prevent or minimize the loss. Alarm do not stop an intruder but they often deter, give warning of the attack or summon assistance

 

Type of Burglar Alarm Systems

 

Local Alarm – a system in which an intruder will trigger off an alarm or siren at your premises.

 

Monitored Alarm – a system in which an intruder will trigger off an alarm which is then passed on to a security control center or alarm monitoring center. There centers can then alert police to the incident.

 

You can also have a combination of both.

 

An Intruder Alarm System can be stand alone or can be integrated as required with other security systems i.e. access control, CCTV
